Berkshire Insulator Gallery (BIG)

The catalog is divided into the following parts:

Each of the sections of the catalog are organized into a table like the one below:

The columns are:

• ID = The gallery identification number for the insulator.
• Cap Markings = These two columns list the markings that are stamped or molded into the caps of the insulators.  '?' means that there were characters that were not readable due to age or condition of the cap.  There are two columns because many caps have different markings on opposite sides.
• Bell Markings = These two columns list the markings that are stamped or otherwise applied to the bell part of the insulators.  '?' means that there were characters that were not readable due to age or condition of the bell.  There are two columns because many bells have groups of markings in different places.
• Side, Bottom = Pictures of the insulator.  The ruler in the background is a 24" or 60cm scale for size comparison.
• Other = Miscellaneous pictures of markings or interesting features on some insulators.
